Ingredients to make Scallops with Mayonnaise Recipe

Freshly ground black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
Green onions / Scallions - chopped (1/4 cup)
Large scallop shells – (12)
Large sea scallops – should be cut horizontally in half (24)
Hot mayonnaise (1-1/2 cups)
Salt (1/2 teaspoon)

Directions to make Scallops with Mayonnaise Recipe

Step 1:

Preheat the oven to around 400 degrees F. Meanwhile, ensure that the mayonnaise is hot and prepared; ready to be used. Place these scallop shells on a baking sheet.

Step 2:

At the same time, use some salt and pepper and season both sides of the scallops. Place around 2 scallops in each shell.

Step 3:

Use 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise over them. Place this on the top rack in the oven.

Step 4:

Wait till the mayonnaise turns a shade of golden brown.

Step 5:

This could take around 10 minutes. Use some green onions as a garnish. Serve hot!
